Lakewood & Jefferson County
A Lakewood crew that preps it right
We started Green Mountain Epoxy Flooring because too many garage and basement floors here get a coating rolled over a slab that was never ready for it, and the homeowner pays twice when it peels. So we built the business around the prep no one sees: diamond grinding to a real profile, crack and spall repair, and a moisture test before any product goes down. We take the name from the mesa on the west side of town, and we work out from there across the county, from the older ranch homes off Wadsworth to the newer builds along the hogback, keeping the crew small so whoever quotes your floor is on site when it gets coated.

What you can count on
Plain and simple: we do the prep, we tell you the price first, and we stand behind the floor. Most of the failed coatings we get called out to fix in Jeffco are not product failures, they are prep failures, so that is where the work goes.
One crew
Whoever quotes your floor is on site when it gets coated, so nothing is lost in a handoff.
Real prep
Diamond grinding to a real profile and a moisture test on the slab, on every single job.
Straight answers
If a coating is wrong for your space, we say so, even when it costs us the job.
Written pricing
The number is agreed in writing before we start, and that is the number you pay.
Fully insured
Real coverage on every residential and commercial job.
Diamond-ground prep
Mechanical profiling, never a quick acid etch.
Moisture-tested
We test the slab before we coat, so it bonds.
Low-VOC systems
Coatings that meet Colorado's Front Range rules.
Floors across old and new Lakewood
Lakewood pairs mid-century ranch homes around Belmar and Eiber with the newer build-out toward Green Mountain and the hogback. The older garages tend to have hard-troweled or previously sealed slabs that fight a coating without real grinding. The newer ones have cleaner concrete but get coated too early, while the slab is still green.
We coat both the same way, with the prep matched to what the slab actually is, so a 1960s garage off Wadsworth and a 2020 basement up on Green Mountain each end up with a floor that holds. The slab tells us how to prep it, and we read it before we quote.
We will not coat a floor that is not ready for it. If the slab needs grinding or a moisture fix, you hear it before we start, and the price you get in writing is the price you pay. If a coating is wrong for your space, we will tell you that too.
Lakewood and all of Jefferson County
We coat floors across Lakewood and the metro, from Golden and Wheat Ridge out to the foothills towns and south to Littleton, with the price in writing and no out-of-area surcharge.
